The Walking Club is Back

We hope you have all had a fantastic winter and that you are ready to enjoy the outdoors and be active. We are so excited to announce that we are hosting yet another walking club this spring at the Belmont Natural Health Centre. Darcy Davie and Arla Kasaj are hoping to have this walking club run on Wednesday evenings (starting at 7PM) from the first week of May until the end of June. Our back up day is Thursday evening. Please let us know if you are hoping to join us and which day you would prefer (Wednesday or Thursday).
We shall be offering the option of weighing in before each walking session and as long as everyone joining is okay with the 5km distance (instead of the 3km distance in the past), we shall continue walking a variety of routes that allow us to reach 5km.
We will offer a prize to the participant who experiences the greatest percentage of weight loss with the best attendance (minimum of 6 out of 8 walking sessions).
In addition, we are offering a BIA analysis option to our check-ins each week where we can better track your weight loss (fat vs. muscle vs. water weight). I will explain this further when we have a final list of participants for the club! How exciting!
Please let us know as soon as possible if you can join us or if you have any questions! Feel free to pass this on to anyone who you think would be interested or could benefit. They don’t have to be a patient at our clinic to attend.
