Walking Club is Back for Spring

We are excited to announce that the walking club is back on for Spring. This year the walking club will be organized by Dr. Arla Kasaj ND and by Darcy Davie (our lovely RMT). They are very excited to be working together. All who join us will enjoy some healthy and active social time and reaching some weight loss goals if that is your personal choice.

Here are the details and please let us know if you are interested in joining:

When: Thursday Evenings from 7:15PM till 8PM

Dates: May 16th until June 27th, 2013

Where: Starting at the Belmont Natural Health Centre (for an optional weigh-in) and walking for a total of 3 km on the Iron Horse Trail.

Challenge: This is meant as a weight loss challenge but we love to have you join us even if weight loss is not your intention. The person with the greatest weight loss percentage will win a $100 gift certificate for BNHC services and/or products.

In order to qualify for this prize you must attend a minimum of 6 walking session out of the possible 8 sessions.

For those of you who are new to this ‘club’, it is a free and social opportunity to motivate yourself and others in staying fit and healthy throughout the summer. You can walk at your own pace, as slow or as fast as you want and we will be able to discuss with the group different meal and exercise ideas to reach your goals and we will take advantage of every opportunity for teaching and learning!!!
